Once both One Small Step Connect participants have joined the scheduling chat and agreed on a date and time for their conversation, both participants need to select “My partner and I have agreed on a time to have the video call” and then select Next Steps. After both participants have agreed to the Conversation Agreements, they will each receive a message from StoryCorps containing a link to the One Small Step Connect interview room.
| Please note: Links for interview rooms are sent prior to your scheduled interview time, sometimes well before you actually sit down to record. Participants SHOULD NOT enter the interview room for their One Small Step Connect conversation before the time and date agreed upon with their interview partner. Users who enter the interview room ahead of their scheduled interview date and time run the risk of compromising the room and delaying their interview. |
