One Small Step Connect needs permission to access your device’s microphone and camera to record the audio of your interview and allow you to see your interview partner throughout your conversation.
If you did not give permission for the platform to access your microphone and camera when you entered the interview room or were not prompted by a pop-up to give access to your microphone and webcam, you can give this permission after the fact by going into your browser’s Settings and adjust the microphone and camera settings you previously selected.
The steps you need to take to adjust your camera and microphone permissions will vary depending on the browser you are using. You can find instructions for this via a Google search or for some of the most common browsers using the links below:
