If I record an interview with the StoryCorps app, does that mean anyone around the world can listen to it?

Public Information -

The StoryCorps app gives you two options for sharing after you record your interview: “publish” your interview publicly or keep it private.

If you choose to publish your interview, it will be made public to the world as it will become publicly accessible on the app and on the StoryCorps.me website, and will be transmitted to the Library of Congress.

The second option is to save the interview just to your device. This means the interview is not accessible to the public. You will only be able to listen to the interview in the StoryCorps app on your device.
