Looking for your interview? Whether you recorded with our app or in a StoryCorps booth, you should receive an email with a link to listen to your interview afterward. At the moment, not all interviews are on archive.storycorps.org. Looking for your interview there? Here is what you need to know:
If you recorded with the StoryCorps App or StoryCorps Connect:
Your interview will be available on archive.storycorps.org only if you chose to publish it. If you did not publish your interview, it exists only on your phone. If you’ve changed your mind and would like to publish the interview, you can still do so from the StoryCorps App; you can find instructions here.
If you did publish your interview but are having difficulty finding it on archive.storycorps.org, the easiest solution is to log in and find the interview on your profile page.
If you participated in a StoryCorps App or StoryCorps Connect interview, but you were not the user who initiated the interview, please note that the best person to reach out to find the interview is your interview partner. The user who initiated the interview controls it's privacy setting.
If you recorded in a StoryCorps booth, on our mobile tour, or in another situation with a StoryCorps facilitator:
At the moment, archive.storycorps.org contains published interviews recorded with the StoryCorps App, select interviews that have been produced for broadcast, and the majority of StoryCorps' full-length Signature interviews.
If you recorded a Signature interview with StoryCorps in the past and completed a General Release form you can expect your interview to become available in the online archive in a few short weeks. In certain specific situations (such as if you signed a modified release, or interviews containing minors) StoryCorps cannot share your interview via the online archive.
If you believe your interview should have been included in the online archive but have not received a claim link from StoryCorps, contact us.
