Looking for your interview? Whether you recorded with our app or in a StoryCorps booth, you should receive an email with a link to listen to your interview afterward. At the moment, not all interviews are on archive.storycorps.org. Looking for your interview there? Here is what you need to know:
If you recorded with the StoryCorps App:
Your interview will be available on archive.storycorps.org only if you chose to publish it. If you did not publish your interview, it exists only on your phone. If you’ve changed your mind and would like to publish the interview, you can still do so from the StoryCorps App; you can find instructions here.
If you did publish your interview but are having difficulty finding it on archive.storycorps.org, the easiest solution is to log in and find the interview on your profile page.
If you recorded in a StoryCorps booth, on our mobile tour, or in another situation with a StoryCorps facilitator:
At the moment, archive.storycorps.org contains published interviews recorded with the StoryCorps App, select interviews that have been produced for broadcast, and a small subset of Signature interviews.
If you recorded a Signature interview with StoryCorps in the past and completed a General Release form you can expect your interview to become available in the online archive in a few short weeks. Because incorporating 15 years of interviews into this new platform and informing the participants is a complicated process, we are introducing them to the archive in batches. When your interview becomes available on archive.storycorps.org you will be contacted by StoryCorps.
If you have questions about your interview and whether or not it has been incorporated into the online archive yet, contact us.
