StoryCorps Connect needs permission to access your device’s microphone and camera to record the audio of your interview and allow you to see your interview partner throughout your conversation.
If you did not give permission for the platform to access your microphone and camera when you entered the interview room or were not prompted by a pop-up to give access to your microphone and camera, you can give this permission after the fact by going into your browser’s Settings and adjusting the microphone and camera settings you previously selected.

Please note: If you have multiple cameras or microphones connected to your device, you may also need to adjust which microphone/camera you are using during your interview in your browser's settings. |
