The StoryCorps Archive was developed as a resource for the public and people who have recorded with StoryCorps, as well as students, educators, researchers, non-commercial media makers, community partner organizations, and others involved in scholarly or cultural work.
There are a number of features available to archive.storycorps.org users who want to share their story and discover new stories:
My Interviews and Profile
You can access all of your published interviews from the My Interviews and Profile page when you are logged in to your archive.storycorps.org profile. From there you can adjust your interview details, edit your interviews visibility and find links to easily share your interviews with family and friends.
Search
You can search our entire Online Archive for any interviews that have been made available to the public or members of the StoryCorps Community. You can search for interviews by the interview ID or title if you know what interview you are looking for or you can filter your results by keyword to browse interviews based on a certain topic.
Communities
Communities are a way to collect and share interviews on archive.storycorps.org with friends, classmates, family, colleagues, and any other group of people that share something in common. Any archive.storycorps.org registered user can create a public community and invite others to join it by sending them a link to the community page. Anyone can browse communities and listen to interviews posted to the community’s page on our website, whether or not they are a community member or registered archive.storycorps.org user. Create a Question List
On archive.storycorps.org, you can create custom question lists to print for your own use or to email to your interview partner before your interview. You can select questions from our You can read more about how to create a custom question list in the online archive here.
Favorites
If there are interviews in the online archive you find yourself revisiting over and over again, you can save them to your profile as a Favorite. Once you have favorited your interview, you will be able to access it from the favorites section of your profile page (as long as the interview remains public in the archive.
Collections
The StoryCorps Archive allows you to use the Collections feature to group your similar interviews into categories. For example, when you record a set of interviews with your family members, you can group them together into a Collection titled "Family Interviews".
