The StoryCorps Online Archive comprises one of the largest born-digital collections of human voices, featuring conversations recorded across the United States and around the world. The full collection is housed at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
Since 2003, StoryCorps has given people of all backgrounds and beliefs the opportunity to record and archive conversations about their lives. The collection available at archive.storycorps.org includes a growing number of Signature interviews, recorded by StoryCorps facilitators with our Mobile Tour, permanent StoryBooths, and other projects and locations. In addition, the archive also includes all public conversations recorded by users of the StoryCorps App and StoryCorps Connect. New conversations are added every day by StoryCorps and by people from across the country and the world.
