The StoryCorps App [Version 1] was launched in 2015 with the support of the TED Prize and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Since then, we have developed a new app to keep up with ever-changing technology. The new StoryCorps App launched on July 11th, 2022 and you can access updated FAQs and troubleshooting resources here.

Our ability to provide support on Version 1 of the StoryCorps App is limited and in most situations, we encourage users to update to Version 2 of the app. For some users, this update may happen automatically but if not, you can go to your device's app store, search for the StoryCorps App, and select Update when you are ready to update the app.
