How do I find a story to listen to in the StoryCorps App?

In 2022, we launched a new version of our App, this article relates to the latest version. To figure out which version you’re on or get help for Version 1, check out this article!

To find a story in the StoryCorps App: 

  • Open the StoryCorps App.
  • If you have an account, sign in with your credentials. If you do not have an account, click on “Continue as Guest.”
  • Next you’ll click on the home button.
  • Then you’ll click on the search icon on the upper right corner.
  • You can filter your search via Keywords (for example, location, name, organization, and topic). You can also use the date range to narrow your search. 

Note: All StoryCorps content is searchable, including podcast episodes, animations, NPR broadcasts, full-length Signature Interviews, and user-generated content such as StoryCorps App and StoryCorps Connect interviews.
