StoryCorps recently implemented a significant update to the StoryCorps App. In addition to improving the interface and setting the framework for future updates, the new version of the StoryCorps App includes many new features not seen in the previous version.
Access Signature Interviews
Prior to the update, users were only able to access interviews recorded with the StoryCorps App and StoryCorps Connect from the app. In the new version of the app, users can access any interview that appears on their archive.storycorps.org profile including Signature Interviews recorded in a booth with a StoryCorps facilitator.
Access Original StoryCorps Content
Users can now browse StoryCorps original content in the StoryCorps App, including our animations and all broadcast stories. Users can access these stories from the app while logged into their account, or while using the app as a guest.
Browse your Communities
App users can now access any Online Archive Community they have already joined using the app. Not only can folks browse and listen to interviews that have been added to their communities, they can also see a list of all current members of their community.
Browse Recently Uploaded StoryCorps App Interviews
From the Stories from Users tab, app users can now see a feed of the most recent StoryCorps App and StoryCorps Connect interviews that have been published to archive.storycorps.org by fellow users.
Google and Apple Single Sign-On
Users can now create an account and login to the StoryCorps App using their Google and Apple accounts in addition to their Facebook and archive.storycorps.org credentials.
